A Partnership in Observational and Computational Astronomy

Observation on the Plaza
November 10, 2008

On a crisp Monday evening, some 100 SCSU students and faculty gathered to observe the Moon and the planets Jupiter and Venus with telescopes and binoculars on the Student Center Plaza. Astronomers from the Department of Biological & Physical Sciences, Drs. Cash, Smith, Mayo and Walter; and two astronomy majors, Graham Davis and Jared Lalmansingh were on hand to assist in the observation session and to answer questions.
